On Orange Shirt Day, we take time to remember the experiences of Indigenous children who were forced to attend residential schools and reflect on the lasting impact this history has on Indigenous communities today. At Crosswind Energy, we are committed to reconciliation and advancing Indigenous-led initiatives, and this day reminds us of the importance of truth, healing, and education in building a better future.

Orange Shirt Day is an opportunity for all Canadians to recognize the painful legacy of residential schools and to stand in solidarity with survivors and their families. Wearing orange symbolizes our collective support for those who suffered and continue to be affected by these schools.

As part of our commitment to Indigenous communities, Crosswind Energy continues to prioritize fostering awareness and understanding through meaningful partnerships. We remain dedicated to supporting Indigenous rights, promoting sustainable energy solutions, and working toward economic reconciliation with Indigenous peoples across the country.

Today, and every day, we reflect on this history and reaffirm our responsibility to honor Indigenous voices in all that we do.
